Alyssum "Euphoria" (mix of colors) - Alyssum maritimum = Lobularia maritima.
Wonderful, sweet fragrance!
Few plants cause so little trouble and are so widespread as alyssum.
Annual. Plant height 15-20 cm. The diameter of the umbrella inflorescence is 5 cm.
When composing modern floral arrangements, you cannot do without it. It will take a worthy place on the rock garden and in the flower arrangement, and will decorate the garden with its decorative inflorescences for a long time.
The leaves are small, grayish-green, pubescent with white hairs. The flowers are small, blue and purple, with a strong honey aroma, collected in racemose inflorescences. The plant is unpretentious, but in hot and dry summers flowering stops. It grows well and quickly after pruning and blooms again. It is used when planting in borders and on rock gardens, for landscaping balconies. It is perfect for edging flower beds and borders. An excellent honey plant, attracts pollinating bees.

Agrotechnics: the plant is undemanding to soils. Quite frost-resistant. Open sunny places are preferable for planting. Does not tolerate excessive moisture and prolonged drought. Sowing seeds can be done in spring or autumn (in this case, the plants bloom faster) - immediately into open ground. With autumn planting, shelter for the winter is necessary for the seedlings that have appeared. If you grow the plant by seedling method, then sowing is carried out in greenhouses in March. Seedlings appear on the 4-10th day. Planting in place is carried out in May, maintaining a distance of 15-20 cm between plants. It is very important that the crops are sparse, otherwise abundant flowering of plants will be difficult and they may be affected by diseases. Plants bloom on the 40-50th day after sowing. Periodically, feeding is carried out with a complete complex fertilizer.
Sowing: in mid-April for seedlings or in mid-May in open ground. Seedlings appear in 4-5 days. Seedlings are planted in May-June according to the scheme 10x10 cm.
Care: the plant is unpretentious, photophilous and drought-resistant, but gratefully responds to watering and feeding.
Flowering: occurs in 40-45 days and lasts until late autumn. When flowering weakens, seed shoots are cut off.
